More from a painful shyness initially on my part, and a more selective nature later, than any occupational problem. Now I maintain it because well...where I live now there's few people I share interests with so I have to reach further out. But I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It has it's ups and downs, as with meeting people in any forum, but it's proved to provide me with some truly amazing friendships. I so know what you mean, all of my relationships have been online.
